For those of you who wish to 'show you care' the above gathering will take place outside HBC Plaza this coming Friday Feb. 14th 11am-2pm. Apparently this action is triggered by concern for: Havant's low percentage tree canopy, losing more than we plant each year ; poor comparative recycling levels down to 9,531 tonnes from previous 2 years (24,754 tonnes 2018-19); residential carbon emissions of 3.5 tonnes per resident; low level of sustainable local transport apparently Havant buses just ordered new diesel vehicles; low ambition with ensuring future proofed new housing; the expressed intention to encourage more development than Gov Housing Target requires.
