SOSCA (Save Our South Coast Alliance) reports that the location of the August 18th Planning Appeal by Chidham, Hambrook & Nutbourne East against Pallant Homes 200 houses (because of lack of infrastructure eg highways, sewage, surgeries, schools) scheduled by Chichester District Council & the Inspector, was so overwhelmed by attendees that it had to be adjourned until January. See Bourne Villages Action Group online for more details. Meanwhile many of you will know that Liz Truss - potential new PM - plans to scrap environment rules that slow down any house-building. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2022/08/19/liz-truss-plans-scrap-environmental-rule-blamed-slowing-house/
